Frequently asked questions —

Yes! I offer a free 15-minute discovery call to help us determine whether working together feels like a good fit. During this time, I’ll ask you to share a bit about your goals for therapy, discuss my approach to therapy and answer any questions you may have before scheduling an intake.
Therapy is a relationship and it’s important that it feels right. If we decide it’s not the best match, I’m happy to help connect you with other referrals!

The initial session is typically 55–60 minutes. Ongoing sessions are approximately 53–55 minutes.
I generally recommend meeting weekly, especially at the beginning of therapy, as this helps build rapport and maintain consistency and momentum in the work we do together.
-
Our first session focuses on getting to know you. We’ll review relevant background information, history, and current concerns, while centering your autonomy and comfort throughout the process. I approach intake through a trauma-informed lens and we move at your pace. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.
This session helps me understand your needs and collaborate with you on a thoughtful, individualized treatment plan moving forward.
